Occurrence of some pathogenic bacteria in cattle feed samples before and after invasionby European starlings

This study was carried out to investigate the species identification and enumeration of some pathogenic microorganisms before after feeding full ration contaminated by predatory starling bird herds on 5 different days in dairy cattle farm Aksaray. At end study, average number E.coli obtained from feed samples taken arrival starlings 6.46 log cfu/g, while birds flocked found as 6.80 cfu/g. While Campylobacter spp. 5.50 this value 5.66 cfu/g swooped down feed.
